A brain injury support group is a place where people with brain injuries and/or caregivers can meet and support each other, by sharing stories and information. They may or may not be specific to DoC. TBI and DoC can be very isolating, as you focus on your family member. So support groups can be a lifeline for many people. Finding the right fit can be a challenge, especially when you're already overwhelmed. We hope these resources are helpful.
