I am a disabled veteran and I had injury person I was in a coma my wife in Iraq was involved in explosion and had two brain surgeries was in a coma for 40+ days. I do believe that since I’ve been in a coma and I suffered a lot of the same problems that she has no thought through them the hard way by myself no thanks to the military they didn’t do anything for you in early 80’s! I have given my spouse all the help that I can give her and she has all the problems that I had and we work through them the key to survival in this world is keeping life simple and one day at a time for people who had brain injuries routines are very important for that we forget things that we do very fast. So am I, it is the story is take it simple do the best that you can for that day I will grateful that I’m living in that my feet touch the ground every day with the help of God I know I can make It through the day! I take a lot of notes of great things on my smart phone I have alarms to remind me of things it’s just some of the things that I do to make it through life!

I wish there was a simple answer. I’d love for someone to give it to me. I don’t know your story of what happened to your husband and how it subsequently affected your relationship but I do know mine. I’ve not figured it out yet. I’d love to hear if you’ve found any good advice.
