In retrospect, Army Veteran Tom Voss realizes that for many years his symptoms from PTSD and moral injury were not getting better because he was going through the motions in his treatments for his family, not for himself. It was not until he make the important shift to wanting to get better, wanting to feel better for himself that therapy started to work.
