Military & VeteransThe VA NY Harbor Healthcare System offers a comprehensive program of Mental Health (MH) services that are recovery oriented and veteran-centered. The center's program includes emergency services, inpatient and residential care, intensive ambulatory programs, and other outpatient care. The center focuses in particular on MH issues of concern to veterans such as PTSD, military sexual trauma, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse treatment, and psychosocial recovery aimed at helping veterans return to meaningful and productive lives in their community. Services are available to veterans living in the five boroughs of New York City.
In addition to the main facilities, it offers services in community-based outpatient clinics. These clinics are located in Brooklyn, Harlem, and Staten Island.
