Rehabilitation services at West Jefferson Medical Center are provided to adult patients with neurological and other medical conditions who have experienced a loss of function in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, or communication. The outpatient program is designed for individuals of all ages, while the inpatient program serves persons who are 18 years or older. The Inpatient Rehab Center is located on the 4th floor of West Jefferson Medical Center. The outpatient center has two locations within the West Jefferson Wellness Complex: In Terrytown (Suite 200 of 175 Hector Avenue) and on the Main Campus (4519 Westbank Expressway) .
Diagnoses of persons served include, but are not limited to, those who have experienced any of the following:
*Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA)
*Spinal Cord Injury,
*Traumatic/ Non-Traumatic Brain Injury,
*Amputation,
*Multiple Trauma,
*Hip Fracture or Joint Replacement,
*Burns
*Other progressive neurological syndromes such as Guillan- Barre, Parkinson’s disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.
