Nevada Aging & Disability Services

The Office of Aging & Disability Services (DS) provides resources that promote equal opportunity and life choices for people with disabilities. Services are generally available to people of all ages with physical disabilities who have independent living needs. In general, DS does not offer services related to medical, educational, or employment needs.  Available services include: Home and vehicle modifications; in-home care; rehabilitation for people with Traumatic Brain Injury; financial loans to people who need to buy assistive devices; recycled medical equipment; telephone devices and advocacy support for people with communication disabilities; assistive technology training and assessments; training for in-home caregivers; and an online registry of accessible housing.
