Mercy Medical Center - Sioux City

Mercy Medical Center-Sioux City serves residents in a 33-county area of western Iowa, eastern Nebraska and southeastern South Dakota. Mercy Rehabilitation offers inpatient and outpatient programs and services to patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or other impairments.  The Center is led by a rehabilitation physiatrist, and staff includes nurses, psychologists, physical, occupational, speech and recreation therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, case manager/social workers, dieticians, support counselors and pastoral care.  Services include an intensive therapy program of at least two therapies, five days a week, 24-hour rehabilitation nursing, and 24-hour physician supervision.
