Central Maine’s Medical Center’s (CMMC) 12-bed acute inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit serves patients who have experienced a loss or impairment of function because of serious illness or injury. This unit provides rehabilitative programs to people of all ages in the Central Maine region. Areas of focus include: regaining mobility; regaining independence with self-care; communication deficits; and other activities of daily life.
Central Maine Therapy Services (CMTS) offers outpatient services to patients of all ages at a facility located near the Central Maine Medical Center campus. The facility has private treatment rooms, rehabilitation equipment and gym, and activities-of-daily-living training facilities.
