Our Learning Services Neurobehavioral Institute (LSNI) programs use a trans-disciplinary approach with positive behavioral intervention. We utilize an innovative behaviorally-based skill acquisition approach designed to teach and support pro-social behaviors and enduring outcomes tailored to the unique needs of each individual served. The Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH) provides exceptional care for people with mild to moderate brain injuries, including concussions, and changes in psychological health. The MIBH has specialty services for military Veterans with mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and post-traumatic stress (PTS), depression, and anxiety. They also serve retired athletes who have had head trauma and are in need of comprehensive care. The MIBH is located in the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
North Colorado Medical Center offers a 20-bed inpatient Center for Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation (CAIR Unit), as well as the Banner Rehabilitation Center, which provides Occupational and Physical therapy and Speech-Language Pathology services for adults with neurological deficits resulting from stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, trauma and progressive disease processes. Neurological Rehabilitation services include: job site evaluations, home evaluations, adaptive equipment consultations and recommendations, community reintegration, and family conferences.
The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital is a inpatient rehabilitation program. The program provides 24 hour per day, 7 days per week services to adolescents and adults who have functional and/or behavioral deficits resulting from a brain injury.
St. Anthony Hospital is one of Denver's oldest and most progressive hospitals. The hospital was opened more than 100 years ago as a result of the determination of the Sisters of St. Francis who pioneered the development of health care institutions in the western United States. Today, that pioneering spirit is alive at the new St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood.
St. Mary's Center for Brain & Spine Surgery provides a range of neurosurgical services, from diagnosis through recovery and rehabilitation, at locations between Denver and Salt Lake City. St. Mary's also offers inpatient and outpatient therapy and rehabilitative services.
The Cohen Veterans Network provides veterans and their families with high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care. Each clinic provides free, client-centered mental health care along with support for related stressors like unemployment, finances, and housing. their clinicians and staff have been trained to work specifically with veterans and their families. *Telehealth available
