Physiatrist
Shane McNamee, MD currently serves as chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Richmond VAMC and has worked extensively on the development and implementation of the Polytrauma System of Care in the Veterans Health Administration. He is an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department and serves as the sirector of the TBI/Polytrauma Fellowship.
He is published in the fields of TBI, complex neurologic injuries, post-combat care, and polytrauma. He is also a frequent national lecturer.
Dr. McNamee graduated as a Presidential Scholar from the Medical College of Ohio and completed residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Virginia Commonwealth University.
