Kessler's Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center is designed to treat physical and/or functional limitations, cognitive impairments, and emotional or behavioral difficulties of patients with brain injury. Kessler provides medical, nursing and therapy care for patients at every level of injury – from those in a minimally conscious state to those requiring outpatient cognitive rehabilitation. These include inpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, as well as the outpatient Cognitive Rehabilitation Program. Kessler is one of 14 centers in the nation to be designated by the National Institute of Disability Rehabilitation and Research as a Model System for the treatment and research of traumatic brain injuries.
Easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway, Routes 80, 17 and 4, and only minutes from the George Washington Bridge, the 112-bed, four-story Saddle Brook hospital campus offers a dynamic rehabilitation environment.
