Established in 1981, Children’s Specialized Hospital’s Outpatient Brain Injury Program is designed for infants to young adults, up to age 21, with mild to severe Acquired Brain Injuries (either Traumatic Brain Injury or Brain Injury resulting from an illness or intervention such as chemotherapy).
This comprehensive nonacademic program has a continuum of services tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient. Therapeutic interventions are implemented to assist children and teens with brain injury regain functional skills and learn compensatory strategies.
