Brain Injury Association of Mississippi

Founded in 1987, the Brain Injury Association of Mississippi serves people throughout the state of Mississippi. It is a private, non-profit corporation whose goal is to serve persons with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, their families, caregivers, and professionals. The Association is an affiliated member of the Brain Injury Association of America. The Association develops support groups throughout the state, designs and publishes educational resource materials, provides literature from the Information Referral Service (upon request), updates and maintains a comprehensive resource library with membership borrowing privileges, organizes/participates in community and educational prevention programs, and maintains a statewide, toll free 800 telephone help line.
