Easter's mission is to provide comprehensive medical and vocational services to people with disabilities in order to maximize their independence and self-sufficiency. The Easter Seals Brain Injury Program uses a multidisciplinary approach to recovery that includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, social services, and neuropsychology. The program focuses on the management of physical, cognitive, and behavioral problems resulting from head trauma or brain injury. Patients are assessed in terms of their capacity to resume their prior level of functioning (work, school, home). The staff assists patients in setting and achieving personal goals through in-house services, including job training and employment services.
