Curative Connections Rehabilitation, Inc.’s Adult Treatment Program for Brain Injury and Neurological Impairment is a day treatment program for adolescents and young adults. Services are available from the time a patient is discharged from sub-acute care to on-going, lifelong care. Focus areas include: abstract reasoning skills, career skills and job searching assistance, cognitive retraining, community re-integration, fine/gross/perceptual motor skills, functional living skills, anger management, communication and social skills, developmental and adaptive recreation skills, movement/sensory integration, and physical activities. Brain injury programs are C.A.R.F. accredited.
To qualify, patients must be medically stable and able to self-administer medication with prompt/cue. Program hours are Monday through Friday from 9a.m. – 3p.m. Respite care is available one hour before and one hour after regular program hours. Pending eligibility, various government programs or private insurance may cover program costs.
