In 1988, Goodwill founded Maine's first residential program designed specifically for individuals with acquired brain injuries. Goodwill now operates six residential treatment homes and also provides supported living services. In treatment homes, residents help establish routines and guidelines within the communal living environment. Residents participate in shopping, meal preparation, and repairs for their home. In addition, each resident creates personal goals based on individual skills, interests, and needs. Residents also have the opportunity to access clinical services at Goodwill's NeuroRehab programs (BaySide and WestSide).
