A brief summary of current research

This research was conducted on a United States base in Iraq. Studying military personnel with mild TBI, researchers found that an increased risk of suicide was significantly associated with depression and the interaction of depression with the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Looking at how depression and PTSD overlapped, researchers also found that the longer a person’s loss of consciousness, the less likely he was at risk of suicide.

I call my mission on twitter #22plus1 for the 22 vets PLUS THE 1 ACTIVE DUTY like studied for this article. [ that die from suicide DAILY ] My girl received a TBI from an IED in Mosul, Iraq 10/7/2007 but it was not diagnosed until 5/2011 and NEVER TREATED. She died from suicide in Heidelberg, Germany on Active Duty, IN HER DREAM JOB...FROM SUICIDE. We need #CHANGES .
